Resolution — Petition for Recognition of KwaGudlucingo as a Separate Isigodi
Community resolution supporting the formal recognition of KwaGudlucingo as a separate Isigodi under the Khathide Traditional Council, including endorsement of a community petition for submission through Inkosi Kubheka to COGTA for consideration of a recognised headmanship.
After discussion, the community unanimously resolved:
1. To support the formal recognition of KwaGudlucingo as a separate Isigodi under the Khathide Traditional Council.
2. To support the appointment of a formally recognised Induna serving KwaGudlucingo.
3. To prepare and endorse a community petition supporting the recognition process.
4. The petition was circulated during the meeting and signed by community members present.
5. The signed petition will be handed to Inkosi Kubheka, who will submit the petition to COGTA as requested for consideration under the applicable traditional leadership recognition processes.
The resolution was adopted by community consensus.
